Being able to identify ambient outdoor air pollution sources accurately is a key element in effective air quality management systems. Without reliable and accurate sources information it is difficult to take actions to reduce pollution with certainty.

The primary advantage of GVS systems is that it can provide near-real time information of the sources contributing to elevated PM2.5/PM10/Bioaerosols (fine particulates with diameter less than 2.5/10 microns and less) levels across time and locations.
